Tuition Assistance

Linden Waldorf School has a strong commitment to affordability, which is based on our belief that a community of students from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds enhances the educational experience of all students and prepares them to succeed in the wider world.

The objectives of Linden Waldorf’s tuition assistance committee are to ensure affordability and the economic diversity of the student population and to ensure that the gifts of a Waldorf education are accessible to families of all income levels. Tuition assistance is available for families with demonstrated financial need. In return, we seek families who are committed to making this important investment in their child’s future. Our tuition assistance process is guided by Linden’s guiding principles, and we abide by the National Association of Independent School’s Principles of Good Practice.

Tuition assistance is considered separately from the admissions process and, generally, only after a student has been accepted. Assistance offers are made annually and a new application is required each year, as family circumstances and the program’s allotment may change. Elementary, middle school, and kindergarten-year students are eligible for tuition assistance. Students in the Early Childhood program not yet in their kindergarten year are not eligible for tuition assistance.

Please read Linden's Tuition Assistance Guidelines.

Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship

Linden's community is built on the ideals of peace, joy, cooperation, collegiality, financial responsibility, diversity, integrity, and respect. As part of our commitment to creating a welcoming learning environment that transcends stereotypes, prejudices, and divisive barriers, Linden has created a need-based, partial scholarship to be awarded each year to a student from an underrepresented demographic.
