A native Costa Rican who moved to the United States in 2016, Señora Henson came to us with deep roots in education and a rich background of instruction. 

With a Bachelor of Science in Preschool and Education and a postgraduate Licentiate Degree in Administration Education Science with an emphasis in Curriculum, both from Universidad Fidélitas, she has thirty years of teaching experience. In addition, Señora Henson holds a Bachelor of Communication Science with emphasis in Journalism and Public Relations from Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica, so her knowledge of the Spanish language, both verbal and written, is exemplary. Verónica has also completed a number of courses in English Language from Cambridge Preparation Center and has attended three professional development conferences provided by the Waldorf Spanish Teachers Association.

In addition to classroom teaching, Verónica owned and operated her own dance academy in San José, Costa Rica, for thirty years, having been a dancer since the age of 4. Most recently, she has served as director of the MTM Talent Agency, as well as a lead model for John Casablancas in Brentwood. Señora Henson brings Spanish culture to Nashville and has taught flamenco to upper level students at Nashville School of Ballet.
