Sophie Camardo grew up in both Midland Park, New Jersey, and Nashville, Tennessee. In May 2022 she graduated from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College with a BS in Child Studies and a minor in Special Education. She is passionate about understanding and responding to the social and emotional needs of children and creating safe and welcoming spaces for all children to thrive. During her college years, Ms. Camardo worked as a Resting Stars Assistant, Aftercare Assistant, and substitute at Linden, and last year she worked at the third grade assistant. She is very excited to take on the new role of first grade teacher this year.
