Having been born and raised in the Nashville area, Ms. Shelby is excited to be part of the team at Linden Waldorf. She holds a BS in Early Childhood/Special Education from Brigham Young University–Idaho and has been teaching Early Childhood in the public schools for a year and a half. She also has experience working as a substitute teacher and special ed teacher’s assistant. In addition, Ms. Shelby has a background in theatre, dance, and music. She has choreographed for a local theatre company for several years and enjoys teaching dance and playing musical instruments.

 

Ms. Shelby lives in Spring Hill near her mother and siblings. She looks forward to continuing to contribute her talents and experience to the Waldorf environment. She says, “I am excited to be a part of a school and team that values the whole child, allows for creative expression, and instills the love of learning through play."
