Education: Warner University, BA • Mount Mary University, MEd and Waldorf Teacher Certification
Ms. Portillo first began working as a Waldorf teacher in 2008, with five years teaching in Miami before starting at Linden in 2013. With a BA in Psychology and a minor in Photography from Warner University, she holds an MEd with Waldorf certification from Mount Mary University.
Ms. Portillo is a native of both Maracaibo, Venezuela, and Blacksburg, Virginia, providing her a unique and broad perspective on language and culture. She has loved the world of numbers since she learned to count and has felt a connection to making art ever since she could pick up a pencil.
