Early Childhood Education
Visit: Attend a Windows on Waldorf tour to learn more about the school and Waldorf Education. Call the Enrollment Coordinator at 615-354-0270 x31 to reserve your space. Please use the appropriate checklist below to apply for fall enrollment. Contact the Enrollment Coordinator, Mari Beth Sartain, for information on mid-year enrollment. Necessary materials may be downloaded by clicking on the links below.
Application: Submit the application, along with a photograph of your child, to the office by February 1. Applications received after this date will be processed as soon as possible, but not necessarily by the notification date.
Application Fee: A non-refundable $125 fee for Early Childhood and Grades is to be submitted along with your application.
Interview: The Enrollment Coordinator will call to set up a time for a family interview with the class teacher.
Reading: Your family will receive a copy of What is a Waldorf Kindergarten? at the interview. Please review before signing contract.

Teacher Recommendation Form: Please have the child's current teacher complete Linden's Teacher Recommendation Form and return it to the school office. Two recommendation forms are required for students in grades 5-8.
Interview: The Enrollment Coordinator will call to set up a time for a parent interview and student assessment.
Classroom Visit: Following the student assessment, if the student is still being considered for admission, the Enrollment Coordinator will call to set up a three-day visit for those students applying to grades 2-8.
Reading: You will receive a copy of Understanding Waldorf Education by Jack Petrash. Please review prior to signing contract.

Decision letters and contracts are generally mailed by March 1 for Early Childhood and are due back, along with the enrollment fee, in mid-March. Grades decisions are mailed by mid-March.
