Enrollment Checklist

Please use the appropriate checklist below if you are applying for Fall enrollment.  Contact the Enrollment Coordinator, Mari Beth Sartain mbsartain@lindenwaldorf.org, if you are interested in mid-year enrollment. 

 

Buttercup Playgroup

The 2018-19 Buttercup Parent/Child Playgroup is full. Please email enrollment@lindenwaldorf.org to be added to the Buttercup wait list for the 2018-19 school year. Online registration for the 2019-2020 Buttercup school year will be available in Spring 2019.  

Early Childhood Education 

Visit:  Attend a Windows on Waldorf tour to learn more about the school and Waldorf Education.  Please use the appropriate checklist below to apply for fall enrollment. Contact the Enrollment Coordinator at 615.354.0270 x 31 for information on mid-year enrollment. 

Application:  To apply for the current 2018-19 school year, click the APPLY FOR ENROLLMENT button above. For the 2019-20 school year, online application will be available in late Fall 2018. 

Application Fee:  A non-refundable $125 fee for Early Childhood is to be submitted along with your online application.

Interview:  The Enrollment Coordinator will call to set up a time for a family interview with the class teacher.

Reading:   Your family will receive a copy of What is a Waldorf Kindergarten? by Joan Almon at the interview.  Please review prior to signing the enrollment contract.

Grades Program

Teacher Recommendation Form:  Please have the child's current teacher complete Linden's Teacher Recommendation Form and return it to the LWS office. 

Interview:  The Enrollment Coordinator will call to set up a time for a parent interview and student assessment by two class teachers. 

Classroom Visit:  Based on the outcome of the assessment, the next step in the application process is a consecutive, three-day classroom visit for those students applying to grades 2-8. 

Reading:  Your family will receive a copy of Understanding Waldorf Education by Jack Petrash. Please review prior to signing the enrollment contract.

Financial Aid:  We offer tuition assistance, based on demonstrated need, through a third party service provider. Please click here for more information on how to apply.

Notification Date

Early Childhood enrollment contracts are offered in early March. A digital signature and the enrollment fee are due by the mid-March deadline for acceptance.
