Enrollment Checklist

Buttercup Playgroup

The 2019-20 Buttercup program is full. Please email enrollment@lindenwaldorf.org to be placed on the wait list. Online registration for the 2020-2021 Buttercup school year will be available soon.  

Early Childhood Education 

Visit:  Attend a Windows on Waldorf tour to learn more about the school and Waldorf education.  Contact the Enrollment Coordinator at 615.354.0270 x 31 for information on mid-year enrollment. 

Application:  To apply for the 2020-2021 school year, click the APPLY FOR ENROLLMENT BUTTON above. Please make sure to choose the appropriate school year.

Application Fee:  A non-refundable $125 fee for Early Childhood is to be submitted along with your online application.

Interview:  The Enrollment Coordinator will call to set up a time for a family interview/play date with the Early Childhood teachers.

Reading:   Your family will receive a copy of What is a Waldorf Kindergarten? by Joan Almon at the interview.  Please review prior to signing the enrollment contract.

Grades Program

Teacher Recommendation Form:  Please have the child's current teacher complete Linden's Teacher Recommendation Form and return it to the LWS office. 

Interview:  The Enrollment Coordinator will call to set up a time for a parent interview and student assessment by the class teacher and Educational Support Teacher. 

Classroom Visit:  Based on the outcome of the assessment, the next step in the application process is a consecutive, three-day classroom visit for those students applying to grades 2-8. 

Financial Aid:  We offer tuition assistance, based on demonstrated need, through a third party service provider. Please click here for more information on how to apply.

Notification Date
