Matching Gifts

Many employers will match donations made by their employees to nonprofit organizations. Check with your employer to see if your company offers matching gifts.

Memorials/Tributes/Planned Giving

These gifts allow donors to leave a lasting legacy for the future. Memorials and tributes are gifts accepted in recognition of a person or event and can be designated to special or regular funds. Planned giving is the creation of a gift through an estate, trust, annuity, insurance policy, or bequest.

Gifts In-Kind

Gifts in-kind, also referred to as in-kind donations, are an important asset for the school. Instead of giving money to buy needed goods and services, goods and services themselves are given. Please check with the Director of Advancment & Outreach as to whether a gift can be accepted before delivery. Donors will be asked to complete a “Receipt for Noncash Gifts/Gifts In-Kind” as a tax receipt for the gift. The IRS requires donors to substantiate the value of donated items, so please maintain your own receipts or records along with the acknowledgment from Linden Waldorf School.
