Ms. Halper has been a member of the Linden community since 2013, when she returned to her hometown of Nashville upon completion of a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Russian at the University of Vermont. She earned Waldorf teaching certification and a Master of Arts in Education at the Great Lakes Waldorf Institute in conjunction with Mount Mary University in Milwaukee.

In addition to her role as class teacher for the Class of 2022, she serves on the Student Support and Faculty Study committees. She has also worked with the Student Action and IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Anti-racism) committees, as well as teaching the Class of 2021 for their eighth grade year.

For many summers, Ms. Halper co-led a Waldorf-inspired children's summer camp on a biodynamic farm in Bells Bend, west of Nashville. When not at school, Ms. Halper enjoys homemaking and engaging in social action within her community.
