Debbie Drew
Debbie Drew is Deputy Director of the Tennessee Office of the Post-Conviction Defender, where she supervises capital litigation teams. She has attended the Tennessee Government Management Institute and Tennessee LEAD program. Prior to moving to Tennessee, Debbie was a staff attorney for the Habeas Corpus Resource Center in San Francisco, where she represented capital clients in state and federal habeas corpus proceedings. She began her career in criminal defense as a public defender after earning her JD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Debbie has previously served as an LWS Board Trustee (2017–2021). She and her husband, David Paschal, are the parents of Gabe Paschal (LWS '23).
