The 7th grade class raised money to sponsor two families at Safe Haven Homeless shelter for the holidays. They raised the money by getting pledges per words that they were learning to spell. They had 5 spelling tests of 50 words each and raised over $1700. The class really improved their spelling and the families that were sponsored received beautiful, needed and wished for items. They had a party and brought art supplies for all of the kids at Safe Haven as well.
