A Developing Member in the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America
Serving Children From Early Childhood Through Eighth Grade
Linden Waldorf School, like all non-profit independent schools in Nashville, relies on a combination of tuition and fundraising to support its everyday operations. About 10% of our operating budget is underwritten by generous contributions of parents and friends. Charitable tax-deductible gifts help us to minimize tuition increases and help the school thrive by providing support for everything from funds for faculty development to financial aid for students.
Linden Waldorf School Annual Fund
As the only Waldorf school in Tennessee, we are committed to providing our students a rich Waldorf educational experience. Our school relies on gifts to the Annual Fund to ensure that we meet that goal. The Annual Fund is our yearly appeal to our community – parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty, staff, and friends – to raise funds to bridge the gap between tuition and the school’s operating expenses. Your generous contributions to the Annual Fund are put to use in many ways, including expanding our academic programming, supporting the professional development of our faculty, providing student support services, funding tuition assistance, and purchasing items to meet the daily needs in the classrooms. No gift is ever too small!
YOU DID IT!
For the first time in Linden's history, every child in Grades 1 through 8 has a parent who has donated to the Annual Fund. What's more, you accomplished this feat in the last 100 days of 2015 ending December 31st, making our 100% in 100 Days Campaign a smashing success. You are pretty incredible.
Our goal for 2015-16 is $75,000 with
100% participation from Board, Faculty, and Parents.
As of 1/1/16, we are at $51,149 which is 68% of our goal.
