Linden Waldorf School of Nashville

Volunteering at Linden Waldorf School

Waldorf education extends beyond what happens in the classroom. The overall health of the school depends on the involvement of parents and wider community. By volunteering at the school, parents and friends can broaden their understanding of how the school works and deepen their appreciation for Waldorf education. This involvement also helps create a rich environment in which the children will flourish.

Opportunities
  • Serve on the Linden Waldorf School Board
  • Be a room parent for your child’s class
  • Help in the Linden Seeds store
  • Provide snacks for Thursday Faculty meetings
  • Adopt a flowerbed on campus to beautify
  • Volunteer to be a Parent Alliance council member or class representative
  • Many, many more!
Ask a Faculty member, anyone on the Administrative team, or Parent Alliance council members how you can be a part of the gratifying work of the Linden Waldorf School community.  You can also complete the LWS Volunteer Form, which helps the school match people's interests, abilities and schedules with opportunities for meaningful work.
