Many community events provide opportunities to link families and friends in the context of their shared interest in Linden Waldorf School. Of particular interest are the community events and festivals which provide social, educational, and cultural opportunities for the Waldorf community.

2011-2012 Family Handbook

Be sure to read the 2011-2012 Family handbook.

Please note the following information that went out about the dress code in June 2011. These changes will be added to the updated 2011-2012 handbook which will be available soon.

Clothing is:

  • neat and in good repair, with any holes patched
  • free from images, logos, brands, advertising, band/musician names, and writing
  • made of solid or patterned fabrics (please refrain from choosing camouflage)

Coverage is:

  • Shirts must cover the shoulders
  • The midriff must be covered even with arms raised above the head
  • Shorts and skirts must be below fingertip length (please remember shorts or leggings under skirts)

Shoes are:

  • Gizmo-free (no lights, wheels, pendants, etc.)
  • Provide for sure-footednesss (mules, slip-ons, crocs, high heels are not allowed)
  • Protect the top, toes, and heels of feet; sandals which protect the whole foot, like Keens and other brands are acceptable

Raingear includes:

  • Boots
  • Raincoat
  • Rain pants (optional in Grades 5-8)
